Sony Professional today announced the continuation of its customer engagement strategy launched in March 2009. The 2010 programme will deliver a series of over 250 events, from tutorials and customer-led workshops to larger solutions showcases, highlighting Sony’s leadership in the key areas of 3D and content management solutions.
David Bush, director of marketing, Sony Professional, said, “Last year's feedback from customers was excellent in terms of the appreciation for the events and workshops delivered across our European zone. We feel we achieved a richer engagement with more customers in more territories. We also gained significantly more media coverage through the temporal spread of our activity.
This year's programme will build on the success of last year offering hands on tutorials and interaction. In addition, we will giving extra focus to Sony’s “lens to living room” 3D strategy as well as engaging with media owners and producers on Sony’s content management story. The presentation at NAB of the Media Backbone suite has given Sony lift-off in our aim to become a leader in software-based media management solutions.”
