The XDCA-55 docks easily with the PMW-350 and PMW-320 via a single 50-pin connector. This simple mechanism means that no other connections to the camcorders are needed.
Using only a pair of BNC cables between the XDCA-55 and the XDCU-50 camera extension unit, the digital video from the camera and the return signal can be carried over a maximum of 100 meters without any degradation.
