It was all going well until 2 days ago, when the email stopped updating itself on my tablet.
I removed the account to add it again (in hope it'd work), unfortunately following your instructions this time is not working.
Is there another way I can connect to my hotmail ?

I've followed your above instructions and have tried on and off to get this to work since i asked again and it still won't connect. It returns an error message reading 'You've typed an incorrect server address or the server requires a protocol version that Email doesn't support'
It's strange because the account was working fine, then it just stopped and i've not been able to use it since.
I even tried restoring the factory settings to the tablet but that didn't help either.
Do you know of any other way i can get this email to work?
I'm currently using the hotmail app, but that's not ideal...
Any help would be much appreciated ![]()

Hi Ruuuth,
It's seems there may be a problem with the Hotmail servers & as a temporary fix it seems that MS are suggesting people try using the hotmail (Microsoft + Seven) App which although may not be ideal seems the best option at the moment, at least until MS address the possible server issues..
