Thuis genieten van ‘live music’

Sinds de ‘kennismaking’ met de h.ear on 3 (WH-H910N) koptelefoon van Sony is mijn kijk op het gebruik van koptelefoons sterk veranderd. Ik was gewend, tot nog toe, koptelefoons met mate te gebruiken (ik zal verderop uitleggen waarom). Ik gebruik deze fijne Sony koptelefoon nu sinds kort, maar inmiddels al weer zeer frequent. De Sony WH-H910N is qua geluidservaring een voorbeeld van hoe subliem techniek ook kan zijn. Iedere gewenste muziekstijl wordt ermee moeiteloos en weergaloos weergegeven en via de de twee oorschelpen is het mogelijk om ‘surround’ (Sony 360 Reality Audio) te beluisteren om daarmee de ervaring van ‘live’ zeer sterk te benaderen. Naar live muziek luisteren is een persoonlijke belevenis, waarbij je graag die muziek wilt horen die je het meeste en diepste raakt. Natuurlijk zou je het liefst er op uit willen gaan en uitsluitend live muziek ervaren. Kijken en luisteren blijft immer de ultieme belevenis. Deze Sony WH-H910N zorgt voor een krachtig alternatief voor het genieten van ‘live’ muziek thuis. Deze fraaie koptelefoon draagt heerlijk en kan zonder enige vermoeienis of hinder uren achtereen worden gedragen. De gebruiksduur van de batterij is ongelofelijk, 35 uur bij volledig opladen. Dus dagen achtereen te gebruiken zonder te hoeven opladen. Nooit een verrassing met de batterij, desnoods even 10 minuten tussendoor opladen levert weer 2,5 uur luisterplezier op. Proefondervindelijk. Sony heeft kans gezien om het stroomgebruik tot een minimum te beperken en heeft daarbij geen enkel compromis ten aanzien van de kwaliteit van het geluid gedaan. De bluetooth 5.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy) draagt daar tevens toe bij. Een zeer stabiele verbinding, ook als je erg ver van je bron vandaan loopt. Overigens bouwt de bluetooth verbinding zeer gemakkelijk op. Wil je een ander apparaat koppelen? (Zet bij voorkeur de bluetooth verbinding van het reeds gekoppelde apparaat eerst even uit) Zet daarna ook de koptelefoon uit en schakel daarna weer in maar houdt de knop wat langer vast tot je een melding van de koptelefoon te horen krijgt. Het koppelen gaat daarna probleemloos. Ik ben een voorstander van deze ‘over-ear’ koptelefoons. Het draagcomfort ervaar ik allereerst als een stuk prettiger dan koptelefoons die op of in het oor worden geplaatst. Verder schrikken de ‘on-ear’ en de ‘in-ear’ koptelefoons mij nogal af omdat het geluid gewoon te dicht bij het trommelvlies wordt geplaatst, wat schade kan veroorzaken aan het gehoororgaan. Geluidsapparatuur in het oor steken zou ik al helemaal willen afraden, het kan irritatie en beschadiging van de gehoorgang veroorzaken. Om die reden kies ik voor de ‘over-ear’ uitvoeringen. Dit maakt voor mij het kiezen van een koptelefoon tevens een stuk overzichtelijker. Deze ‘over-ear’ Sony koptelefoon zit ook nog eens heerlijk en dat nog steeds na urenlang dragen ervan. Laten we er niet omheen draaien. Het gebruik van headphones kent veiligheid-issues en om die reden zou ik sowieso het gebruik van de betere koptelefoons willen adviseren en het gebruik ervan enigszins spaarzaam en met de nodige aandacht aanbevelen. Dan blijft het immers mogelijk om uren achtereen en veilig naar muziek te luisteren. Deze Sony koptelefoon is prima geschikt om lang achtereen te gebruiken. Een groot voordeel van deze Sony WH-H910N is immers de perfecte noise cancelling. Groot voordeel ervan is dat je het geluidsvolume niet flink hoeft op te schroeven (slecht idee voor je oren) om allerlei omgevingsgeluiden te onderdrukken. Dat onderdrukken van hinderlijke geluiden doet de koptelefoon zelf al voor je. Dankzij het ingebouwde NC-systeem wordt geluid van buiten gefilterd en daarmee is een aangepast geluidsniveau voldoende om heerlijk en ongestoord van jouw favoriete muziek te kunnen genieten. Afhankelijk van de omstandigheden kun je NC natuurlijk ook uit zetten. Persoonlijk zijn voor mij de volgende aspecten van een draadloze koptelefoon het belangrijkst: geluidskwaliteit, draagcomfort en batterijduur. Geluidskwaliteit: Ik vind het geluid van deze koptelefoon weergaloos, zeer gedetailleerd en uiterst subtiel. Ik heb een breed spectrum aan muziekstijlen beluisterd, van klassiek tot hiphop en steeds opnieuw ben ik verrast door deze Sony koptelefoon. Uiteraard heb ik via de Sony headphone connect app de koptelefoon gefinetuned. Niet alleen de aanwezige equalizer helpt bij het instellen van mijn persoonlijke voorkeuren maar ook is er de mogelijkheid om zeer hoge kwaliteit muziek te beluisteren (persoonlijk in te stellen) via streamingdienst Tidal. Overigens is de geluidskwaliteit van Spotify HQ ook uitstekend en zeer geschikt voor deze Sony koptelefoon. Draagcomfort: Sony heeft sinds enige tijd een enorme slag gemaakt met het draagcomfort van koptelefoons. Daarmee passeert Sony haar concurrenten steeds vaker. Batterijduur: De batterij lijkt niet te stoppen te zijn. Ook na uren luisteren lees ik de batterijstand uit: nog steeds 100 % Kort samengevat: ik zou bij een volgende aankoop van een koptelefoon die van Sony zeer zeker weer kiezen! Kleine dingen waar Sony nog wat aan zou kunnen verbeteren: - De programmeerbare C-knop geeft nogal onduidelijk informatie. - NFC werkt perfect met Android telefoons. Koppelen met NFC via Iphone is waarschijnlijk niet eens mogelijk. Die informatie mis ik. - Het kost de gebruiker in het begin nogal wat moeite om het touchpad van de rechteroorschelp te bedienen. Vooral het volume ermee wijzigen is nogal lastig. Volume gaat in erg kleine stapjes waardoor je geneigd bent om het volume van je telefoon of ipod dan toch maar aan te passen. (Overigens is dit na enige oefening niet langer een probleem)

I bought the headphones in September 2020 - expensive items - but always trusted the Sony brand prior purchases. After 6 months the plastic cup connector (internal) sheared off - rendering the headphones useless (the plastic connector forms the rigidity). Sony warranty have refused to replace the plastic under warranty - saying it has been caused by customer damage! The headphones have been treated extremely carefully (who wouldn’t look after a GBP 200 pair of headphones) - and I’m staggered. I feel customer service have let down the brand.

Die Klangqualität ist gut, allerdings hat die Batterie nach zwei Jahren angefangen sehr deutlich schwächer zu werden. Ich habe die Kopfhörer nun 2,5 Jahre und es wird immer schlimmer. Des Weiteren lösen sich die Ohrpolster mittlerweile auf (Foto anbei). Der Bügel, mit dem Verlängerungsmechanismus, ist auch schon vor längerer Zeit auseinander gefallen (Foto anbei). Ich habe erfolglos versucht es zu kleben. Insgesamt ist die Leistung für ca. 250€ leider nicht ausreichend.

Niks te klagen over geluid en connectivity. Wel over het feit dat na twee jaar (thuis-)gebruik ineens de oorkussens helemaal kapot zijn. Het ziet er niet uit en wordt alleen maar erger. Sony levert ze niet, biedt ze niet aan, of ik kan het niet vinden. Belachelijk, om om deze reden een headset eigenlijk te verliezen!

Got these headphones as part of a package deal with my new Sony mobile phone. They've been hanging around for a year or more as I've already got some Sony headphones WH-CH700N which I've had for about three years and are great. These new headphones are a much cheaper variant they're not as comfortable, the controls for play/pause, volume & ffw/red are useless as they're touch sensitive but you don't see where to touch and if you happen to accidentally tap one it will cause unwanted operation on said controls. Glad I didn't buy them as I would have returned to retailer.

The head phones are really good the best I have had the only bad fault I have found with them is the ear surround padding starts to peel off which I wouldn't expect with the price of the head phones. I will have to see if they sell them separately or it's a new set.

Geluid goed, ruisonderdrukking redelijk

Koptelefoon enkele weken in gebruik en over het geheel genomen ben ik tevreden. De bass is door middel van de app sterk teruggeschroefd, was bij sommige soorten muziek, w.o. klassiek, ronduit irritant, maar dat is persoonlijk. Daat was wel even zoeken. Anders is het met de ruisonderdrukking. Op stiltemomenten geeft deze een soort draaggolf te horen. Dat had ik niet verwacht en kan irriteren. Onder aan de streep was dit niet iets waarom ik deze koptelefoon zou retourneren.

Bought these noise cancelling headphones for flying after some ling haul trips with screaming children. Work very well in eliminating the aircraft noise and also at reducing passenger noise. Sound quality is very good for the price, especially when you use the equaliser to reduce the unnaturally deep bass evident on some tracks. They fit nicely and are comfortable to wear over many hours of use. They also fold nicely for storage and the quality seems good. Overall very pleased with the purchase, and I'm sure they will provide many years of service.

I've never encountered so many problems with a bluetooth headphones. It's constantly disconnecting (and I'm very close from the bluetooth receipter), and I have the choice between waiting ~= 10 sec before it reconnects, or rebooting the headphone. And now it gets even worse: I still see it connected with the computer, but not making any sound (so reboot solution needed). The quality is fine, but it's so problematic to have it to work, nothing can compensate this.

Great headphones, have long battery life and are reliable. But after six months, either left or right, start to literary scream. Told by Sony to reset them and reinstall the app, it hasn't worked. I also use them on a Windows PC which doesn't have an app, so the problem is even worse. The only thing that helps the problem is by switching the ambient sound control off, but you don't have that option with a Windows PC. No emails or support messages left have been answered. The supplier Very said to contact Sony, ether way. Customer service is zero and I paid £160 for them.

Das NoiseCanceling fing nach 5 Monaten an zu pfeifen. Ich trug die Kopfhörer regelmäßig beim Arbeiten vorm Rechner oder im Zug. Ich war die ersten 5 Monaten wirklich begeistert. Toller Sound super Sprachquali und wirklich tolles NoiseCanceling... der Hauptgrund warum ich diese 910N genommen habe! Irgendwann fing das NoiseCanceling an, auf einem Ohr schlagartig, nach dem Anschalten, so schrill zu pfeifen, dass ich mir die Kopfhöhrer vom Kopf reißen musste. Das tat echt weh! Ein mal aus und wieder an, war es weg. Das trat dann leider immer öffter auf.. bis es gar nicht mehr weg ging und das NoiseCanceling gar nicht mehr nutzbar war. Schade.. zur Raparatur geschickt.. sind weder repariert worden, noch wurde Ersatz geschickt. Amazon gab mir das Geld zurück. Ärgerlich... für 270 Euro sollte das nicht passieren!

Good sound but very poor build quality

I have bought this headphone in 2020, the audio quality is very good for me and the battery life was sufficant for me. However it broke after around 6 months or so without any careless handling or accident. After sending it to repair i could use it again but it broke again and my noise cancelling isn't functioning correctly anymore, making a blank noise when using it. So in conclusion, the headphones overall is good but is heavily dragged down by its poor build quality and design. At the end i wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

I was about to go on a long train ride and needed a pair of headphones to help pass the time. These were perfect. The sound quality is outstanding. The battery lasted a decent time. The noise cancelling feature was a godsend. Connecting to my phone was a piece of cake, and the headphones app made customising my experience even easier.

Worst headphone ever purchased

I bought these headphones in December 2020 from the media market in Belgium. After some time (2-3 months) it had problems like no effect of noise cancelling, lower bateery backup, also problems in connecting to laptop via Bluetooth etc. I tried to return it but shockingly get to know that they cannot take it back (although it was still in warranty). After a year, it broke on its own from the hinge forcing me to insulate with tape but still no point to return the product. I have lost around 200 euros over this product. Strongly disfavoring this product. The return and damage policy sucks.

I bought these a month ago to replace another pair I bought under 2 years ago because the covering on the ear muffs had disintegrated and although Sony replaced them it started to happen again. Hopefully the new ones will last more than 12 months!

I bought these Sony WH-H910N Headphones, to replace a cheap unknown manufacturer pair I purchased 2 years ago. I am not disappointed, they sound fantastic and very easy to set up and operate. Only negative is the cloth travel pouch, I would have liked to have seen them in a hard case. I would definitely recommend them, I have compared them with my sons Sony WH-1000-XM3 more than twice the price and could barely tell any difference.

... des Anspruchs und des Preises. Für OVP würde ich den Kopfhörer nicht empfehlen, Klangbild durchschnittlich, NC allerdings gut. App ausbaufähig und User Experience wurde zu Zeiten der Gestaltung noch klein geschrieben. Bei einem Angebot kann man zuschlagen ansonsten vorab lieber probehören.

J'apprecie tout avec ce casque : qualité audio, fonctionnalité... bon sauf que le tactile fait que c'est un peu impratique quand vous voulez tenir votre tête, ou la poser contre un coussin, genre que le canapé.... mais c'est pas le vrai problème. malheureusement au bout de 6-8 mois l'arceau se démonte au niveau de la "lyre"qui tiens l’écouteur. et la fonçon dont c'est couçue est dure à réparer, et indique que le problème risque d'apparaitre encore et encore. Et les conditions d'envoi en SAV sont telle que je vais devoir me tourner vers le vendeur pour un retour SAV et un remplacement par un autre produit puisque 'il est hors de question que je paye des frais de transport pour un défaut de conformité, et que c'est une faute de conception du produit et de sa réparabilité.

These headphones fell apart a little under 16 months after I bought them by me just taking them off my head, and were just out of their 1 year warranty. Sony don't take any responsibility for what is clearly a weak design point and have asked me to pay to get them fixed. The headphones were very well looked after and were not dropped etc... Quality of the actual sound was decent but your money is better spent on better made products.
